1. Opening Order Requirements.
To become a Firstech Canada dealer, your account application must include a minimum opening order of $2,500 (before tax and shipping). Accounts will only be activated and approved when accompanied with an opening order. Prospective dealers will be provided with a quote on requested items to place their opening order. All opening orders require approval from a Firstech Canada Representative .

2. Minimum Annual Requirements.
To maintain an active Firstech Canada Dealer status, you must purchase a minimum of $5,000 in Firstech Canada products each year. If this annual requirement is not met, your account will be deactivated, and you will need to re-apply with a minimum opening order of $5,000 to reinstate your account. If your account does not meet the minimum threshold 2 years in a row, it will be moved to inactive status indefinitely. Accounts are reviewed annually. Dealers will be notified in writing if they fail to meet the annual minimum purchase requirement.
3. Inactive Accounts.
Accounts that remain inactive for 90 days or longer will be disabled, and login access to www.myfirstech.ca will be removed. To reactivate your online account, please contact your Firstech Canada Representative . Credit accounts that are inactive for 12 months or more will automatically be converted to Credit Card terms.
To reinstate terms, a new account application is required and will be subject to the $5,000 minimum opening order policy (see above).
4. Ordering Policy.
All orders must include a purchase order number and may be submitted by phone, email, website, or through your Firstech Canada Representative . To help us process your order efficiently, please have your quantities, part numbers, and product descriptions ready at the time of ordering.
Email and website orders may be submitted 24 hours a day and will be processed on the next available business day. Once your original order has been received and processed, any additional items will be treated as a new order.
Orders placed before 4:30 p.m. Central Time will ship the same day via Firstech Canada's preferred ground carrier.
Orders requiring overnight shipping must be placed before 2:30 p.m. Central Time (CST) to qualify for same-day shipment. Orders submitted after these cut-off times will be processed and shipped on the following business day.
5. Backorders.
For any backorder exceeding sixty (60) days, partners will be contacted before releasing or cancelling the order. Backorders are shipped via carrier and service of preference of Firstech Canada.
6. Payment Terms.
Our standard open account payment terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice, on approved credit. When applying for an open account, please allow 5 business days for application processing.
All invoices shall be due and payable in accordance with the payment terms granted. Any amounts not paid when due shall be considered past due. Firstech Canada reserves the right to charge interest on overdue balance at a rate of 1.5% per month (18%per annum), or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower, calculated from the original due date until payment is received in full.
In the event of late payment, Firstech Canada may, at its sole discretion and without limiting any other rights or remedies available under these Terms and Conditions or applicable law:
- suspend shipment of pending orders;
- place the account on credit hold;
- revoke or modify credit terms;
- require prepayment for future orders;
- accelerate all outstanding balances immediately due and payable; and
- recover all resonable cost of collection, including legal fees, administrative fees, and third-part collection expenses where permitted by law.
Repeated late payments or material payment default may constitue grounds for suspension of account privileges, loss of rebate eligibility review, or termination of the account at Firstech Canada sole discretion.
Payments made on open accounts by credit card are subject to a 2.5% processing fee applied to payment. All returned cheques are subject to a $25.00 service charge. Firstech Canada accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express as payment at time of invoice.
We also accept Interac E-transfers, just follow these three easy steps:
(a) Log into your online or mobile banking app and send an Interac e-Transfer for the amount of your invoice, and direct it to the email address: [email protected]. Payment will be automatically accepted by Firstech Canada, but you may be required to use a security question, please reach out to our Accounting Department to obtain the security question.
(b) Once the payment is completed, please send an email to [email protected] with the payment details: Company Name, Sales Order Number (SOXXXX) being paid and total amount.
7. Pricing.
All pricing is subject to change without notice. Please log in to www.myfirstech.ca to view current pricing, or contact our order desk at [email protected]. Pricing is available only to approved accounts.
If you do not yet have an account, please contact your Firstech Canada Representative or submit a request through our Account Request Form.
8. Warranty.
Manufacturer warranties will be honored as stated by the manufacturer and, where applicable, within Canada. A valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number is required before any goods can be returned. RMA numbers can be obtained through our Client Services Department or by submitting a warranty request form on www.myfirstech.ca.
All defective RMAs will be processed with prepaid freight once per month.
Along with your company information, you will receive your return schedule and will be required to provide:
- SKU
- Quantity
- Reason for return
- Serial Number
Replacements will match the condition of the returned item (e.g., missing harness returns will be replaced without a harness).
All product exchanges require pre-approval and must be current, new-in-box items on a 1-for-1 basis.
If we provide an advanced replacement and the original return is missing components (e.g., harness), charges will apply.
Prepaid return shipping is provided only for defective warranty items and only for dealers who meet the annual spend requirements. Non-defective items returned for credit must be shipped back using prepaid shipping at your own expense.
9. Shipping.
All orders shipped from Firstech Canada are shipped from our Saskatoon, SK warehouse. A delivery signature may not be required.

A signature for receipt of delivery will not be indicated as being required unless expressly requested by the purchaser.
*In the event we are unable to fill your order completely, all back ordered items will be shipped to you at No Charge.
10. Lost, Damaged, or Discrepant Shipments.
All shipments are sent using licensed carriers and leave Firstech Canada's facility in good condition. Once the shipment is handed over to the carrier or the Buyer's designated representative, title to the product transfers to the Buyer. It is the Buyer's responsibility to obtain any insurance needed to protect against potential shipping loss.
The Buyer assumes all risk of loss or damage in transit, including direct, indirect, or consequential damages. If a shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or does not match the invoice, the Buyer must notify Firstech Canada and submit a written claim within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the shipment. Supporting documentation, including photos, the invoice or packing slip, and the shipping receipt, must be provided. Claims submitted after this 24-hour period will not be accepted, and payment of the invoice may not be delayed or withheld due to shipping-related issues.

11. Merchandise Returns.
Return Window: All products may be returned within 60 days of purchase for a full credit. Any return still requires an approved RMA. Returns after 60 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee or a dollar-for-dollar stock balance and require approval from Firstech Canada management and your territory sales representative. Stock balance requests must be accompanied by a replacement order before an RMA can be issued. No returns will be accepted after 180 days.
Condition of Returned Goods: All returned items must be factory sealed, in like-new, saleable condition, and free from date markings, pricing labels, or damage. Products must be shipped via prepaid freight, with the RMA tag clearly visible on the outside of every box. Freight collect shipments or packages without a valid RMA tag will be refused.
Shipping Costs: Prepaid shipping applies only to defective items returned under warranty. Non-defective items returned for credit will be billed for the quoted cost or may be returned prepaid by the customer.
RMA Number and Credit Approval: Issuance of an RMA# by Firstech Canada does not guarantee a merchandise credit. All returns must comply with this return policy. Items that do not meet policy requirements will be refused and returned to the customer.
Exclusions and Special Conditions: Product returns exclude opened items, damaged items, clearance items, discontinued items, and special-order items. These are final sale. Items returned under the 60-day return policy must be in their original packaging with all included accessories and manuals. Returns without original packaging will be denied entirely. To request a standard Firstech Canada RMA, complete the form by logging in to www.myfirstech.ca.
12. Advance Warranty.
All advance warranty requests must be approved by Firstech Canada. An RMA must be obtained before any advance warranty order can be processed. Advance warranty replacements require pre-approval, and the defective item must be returned to Firstech Canada within 30 days of the replacement order issuance. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days, even for defective products.
13. Special Order Items.
Special order items are non-refundable. These items are not stocked by Firstech Canada and are available by special request. Special order items typically take 10-15 business days to become available in our inventory. While Firstech Canada strives to meet this timeframe, availability cannot be guaranteed.
14. Authorized Sales Territory.
Resellers are authorized to sell only within their local trading area and home province. Exporting or selling products across provincial lines is strictly prohibited unless pre-approved by Firstech Canada.
15. Internet Sales Policy.
Products purchased from Firstech Canada may not be advertised or sold online without prior written authorization from Firstech Canada.
